nice idea

really cool idea & i like the guitars !
but the whole remix sounds out of tune at various points...so, no full points -.-

giftedbuttwisted responds:

Hmm where is it out of tune? PM me if you get a chance.

Nice Stuff

Really nice piece of music here. Dont know a lot about movie scores, but i could imagine a nice sneaking game (like Metal Gear Solid)...
Zajed could be right...you already do have a lot of stuff goin' on in the low frequencies, but maybe you can make some "space" for a short bass.
Anyway...really creative stuff & nice transitions !
Keep it up, mate!

DavidOrr responds:

Great suggestions, thanks!

Loved it, saved it, thank you ;)

Some really cool happy-rave :D Makes me bumbing to the beat...downloaded ;)
Those synths are really cool too...escpecially the 303 baseline!
10/10 & 5/5

FlamingFirebolt responds:

303 are truly awesome. I want the real deal though ;(
I wish i did the 303 better it's a bit meh.
But, nevertheless, thanks you liked it :D.

i really love the melody as it goes on...and on...but what is it what we listen to ? ;) Sound like an old radio that plays without bass...and the mic switching on & off should really be cutted out ^^ There is also some touching and handling hearable ( is that a word ? ;) ).
So, will ya tell us what the sound plays...and it was created ? I really hate it to give no stars...but to give you a real critique or an useful comment, i need to know how you made it...
Will rate this with 5 stars (instead of none) because i like the melody ( wich could be played by a cell phone or an R2-D2 :D ) and i want to push you a bit...i am just wondering what you could create with better equip and some more planning....and the most important thing for you to learn, is mastering ! Surely you can do better (and i think you know this !?)

Keep it up, mate !

Cheers !

Mansbridge11 responds:

Hey! If I did buy better equipment, I could probably make this sound a lot better and make it a lot more catchy. It's just hard to come up with the money when I'm spending it all on video games. And I could plan a little more time into my next creation and make it more clear and make the sound quality better. Anyways, thanks for the review!

Freakin´ awesome, mate!

I really love piano tracks...and when you play the guitar it gets really cool. Those two instruments really fit great together!
The only thing i would crit, is that it´s way too short !

Btw: Who plays that piano?

Kor-Rune responds:

I did the piano part. :)

Yeah, I wanted so much to make it longer, but I wasn't that creative at the moment.

Thanks for reviewing :D

Great!

Nothing to crit for me. That sounds amazing!
You really know how to play your instrument.

Keep up that great work !

Kor-Rune responds:

Thanks, I will. :)

It makes me sad...but thats good ;)

I listened till the 30th second, then i clicked the download-button ;) Really great interpretation !!! I wonder how an x-tended version could sound like...where you also play a lead guitar in one part.

Dimoria responds:

Great man :) Yeah you gave me an idéa :) I'm gona try to put some guitars in it :)
Cheers man.

Nice track!

I will write as i listen to your track:
Nice beats at the beginning...very well mixed & mastered...that guitar sound really good. Now at 0:52 where the voice starts there should be some change in the drum patterns.
1:23 the chorus-part isn´t really different from the first part...also the voice (or the whole track) sounds too loud and destroys the feeling of a great mastering -.-
3:00 and i still waiting for something special...the guitar is played very well, but nothing special in the arrangment.
I really wish i could love this track...it started so promising. But i hope my comments are a little bit helpful.

Keep it up !

Darren-M responds:

yes i agree with everything you said, this is good advice, after 3:00 i just wanted the emphasis to be on the guitar solo part and just kinda relax to it, thank you for giving me a thumbs up on mixing!

Nice effort!

It starts of very lame...especially with that annoying reversed drum. The beat is well executed, compared to the melody. The lead instrument could use some polishing. Also it could have some more variation and/or a second theme that counters the main.

I would not call it Goth at all...since it´s missing some accords (note combinations) that would be needed therefor...for me it sounds like some kind of modern hip hop. but that´s no crit - i also don´t like genres ;) Just make the music and let others categorize it :D

Just my thoughts, because you asked for it ;) No Offense!

Keep it up, mate !

XxX-WOLF-XxX responds:

Of course no offense, ha ha. Everyone is entitled to their own view on things.
I personally think it fits in Goth because of the scales I use in it and dont think the beat should decide what genre it goes in.

Oh but the "Lame" comment... ouch, lol.
You'd be happy to know i never use reversed snares and this song very... very minimal use of it, ha ha.

I really do appreciate your review!
